After raising a family, Carol started actively showing her art in 2012. It has been featured in art galleries and won awards across the United States. She is a graduate of McDaniel College in Westminster Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art. Her primary form of art has been pencil drawing. Carol has given talks about pencil drawing as a member of several art galleries and she considers her pencil drawing style to be self taught. As a child, she was inspired by the pencil art of illustrators like C.W. Anderson and Sam Savitt. Now Inspired by the life around her, she has drawn family and friends, pets, plants from her garden. Carol works from life as well as her own travel photographs.
